PURO, BHAI 2

PURO, BHAI, was a devoted Sikh of the time of Guru Ram Das. Bhai Puro. accompanied by Bhai Manak and Bhai Bishan Das, once came to visit the Guru. They sought instruction as to how they might save themselves and their families. Guru Ram Das, as says Bhai Mani Singh, spoke, "Learn to serve others and entertain Sikhs who come unto you, and induce your sons and daughters to do so, too. As you serve His men, so will He save your souls." Bhai Puro and his companions acted upon the Guru`s words and became known as devoted Sikhs.
